How often do you clean your hairbrush?
Combs and hairbrushes are part of our daily lives. These are accessories that no one can do without, and they are essential to the good health of our hair.
And of course, they contribute to the beauty of the hair and their style. But like any other accessory, these must be well maintained. Here are some tips for cleaning a comb and a hairbrush.
1. Regular cleaning of your hairbrush
It will be essential to clean your combs and hairbrushes at least once a week. Otherwise, once every 2 weeks will be required if you are used to losing your hair.
Soak your combs in a little warm water with bleach. Then rinse and dry thoroughly. Thus, your combs will be disinfected. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of bleach.
3. Remove the hair from your combs
Before cleaning a comb and a brush, never forget to remove the hair and any other debris trapped between the teeth, especially if they are still wet when brushing.
4. Hand soap
Wash your hairbrushes with water and hand soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a dryer.
You can use shampoo to clean your brushes and combs. Proceed in the same way as with the hand soap tip mentioned above.
6. Comb the brush
You can simply use a comb to remove the hair stuck in your brush.
7. Baking soda
In a bowl filled with water, pour a little baking soda and soak your combs and brushes overnight—the next morning rinse and dry.
8. White vinegar and hairbrush
In a large bowl, pour equal parts of water and white vinegar. Wait overnight, and the next day rinses and dry.
9. Pay attention to wood
If your comb or brush is made of wood, avoid letting them soak in water.
10. Use a toothbrush
For deep cleaning, you can use a toothbrush with your soap or shampoo!
