Do you have lots of dusty trinkets at home?
The trinkets can be gorgeous, but alas, they accumulate a lot of dirt and dust! They must, therefore, be cleaned regularly, but how to do it effectively!
They are fragile, delicate, and we don’t want to spread their dust everywhere! Do you want to clean these small decorative items quickly? So here are some tips for cleaning a trinket!
1. A feather duster to wash the trinkets
For a fragile trinket, a simple dusting is usually enough. You can do this with a feather duster.
2. A microfiber cloth
To better handle your trinkets, you can also use a microfiber cloth to remove dust.
3. A washcloth
To polish a porcelain trinket, no need to use chemicals! Just use a washcloth!
4. Soapy water to wash well
To wash porcelain, glass, or metal trinkets, you can use a little warm water and liquid dish soap. Soak them for several minutes in water, rinse and allow to air dry.
5. Home cleaner
To clean your trinkets, you can concoct a natural cleaner yourself! You just have to beat an egg in white vinegar, pass the mixture over your toys, rinse and allow to air dry.
6. Patafix to stick the trinkets
To prevent accidents, patafix is a great idea! The patafix will allow you to stick your knick-knacks on your surfaces without risking, for example, children dropping them! So you keep your trinkets in place, but you can move them as often as you want because the patafix peels off. Do not use on wallpaper, however.
7. A brush
To clean the little corners of your trinkets, use a small fine brush—ideal for removing all dust from your trinkets and other decorative items in the house.
8. A bowl for cleaning trinkets
When you soak your trinkets, never put them in a sink or sink. Use a bowl instead.
9. 90-degree alcohol
To clean crystal trinkets, pour a little 90-degree alcohol on a cloth and gently rub your trinkets. Rinse and dry in the open air.
10. Rinse your trinkets with vinegar water
For best results, you can rinse your trinkets using vinegar water.
