How to Get Rid of Vaginal Odor?

Vaginal odors! If you have this problem, then don’t worry, because you are not alone. According to statistics, at least nine out of ten women have vaginal odors, often as soon as they reach puberty. Uncomfortable, they cannot even talk about it to their close relatives or their doctor and generally try to mask them by using strong perfume or deodorants almost all the time.

Itching, burning, inflammation, or vaginal discharge are some of the reasons that can lead to this state of affairs and can be summed up simply by the problems associated with intimate hygiene, which usually leads to bad odors which happen to be normal and inevitable.

So, to allow you to finish or limit its vaginal odors, we offer simple solutions that can be done at home. But it is also recommended as a first step, in the event of a change in odor, or discomfort daily, to consult to treat and eliminate infections and diseases, which are the most frequent cause of intimate odors. 6. Fenugreek

Daily consumption of fenugreek helps control hormone levels in women. It also promotes regular menstruation. Soak a few fenugreek seeds overnight and drink their water on an empty stomach in the morning. You can also make herbal teas from these seeds or add them directly to your meal preparation.

7. Flaxseed

Ground flaxseed is a superfood rich in phytoestrogens and omega-3 fatty acids, which helps increase estrogen levels and can stop vaginal dryness.

8. Be careful with ordinary soap

Excessive use of regular soap to cleanse your private parts can disrupt the production of natural chemicals. Doing so results in an undesirable odor. Instead, wash them with an exclusive intimate hygiene product, a homemade product. Add a few drops of rose water and glycerin to a cup of water and use it to wash your private parts.

9. Tea tree oil

Some of our behaviors may be the reason that interferes with the pH balance of the vagina and generates an infection and an unpleasant odor. Like for example, if you use scented wipes and vaginal deodorants, it’s time to put them in the trash. To get rid of odors, use tea tree oil diluted in water as a vaginal cleanser. This oil is both antibacterial and antifungal. It can, therefore, perfectly brake the infection while fighting against the bad odor.

10. Yogurt

Yogurt may not be your favorite food. But it is a wonderful remedy because it can significantly reduce the vaginal odor. A strong vaginal odor is a sign of a yeast infection. The germs in yogurt can help fight infection and thus minimize the odor. Eat plain yogurts, preferably with meals, to recover the typical pH of the vaginal area. Conversely, if you have a strong vaginal odor, dip a tampon in the yogurt and gently place it in your vagina. Leave it for an hour or two, then rinse.

11. Lemon

Rich in vitamins C, lemon will help get rid of toxins. No, you will not use it for the toilet, but rather by putting it in your drinking water. 3 lemons for 1 Litter of water.

12. Parsley

Parsley has diuretic and depurative properties. It removes toxins from the body. And therefore, the bacteria responsible for odors. Boil a bunch of parsley, let it cool and drink a glass a day for 2  weeks.

13. Fresh fruits and vegetables

Fresh, organic and whole fruits and vegetables are always the key to a healthy body and promote vaginal health thanks to the many vitamins and minerals they contain. We know that vitamin C, found in citrus fruits, guava, strawberries, kiwi and green and red peppers, is a stimulant of the immune system.
Leafy vegetables should always be eaten in abundance, as they promote blood circulation and prevent vaginal dryness. Eat lots of spinach, kale, cabbage, salad, Swiss chard, kale, kale and other leafy greens by including them in your salads and smoothies. 14. Nuts and seeds

15. Chlorophyll

Chlorophyll fluid works as a great deodorant and helps reduce the strong and unwanted odor and is readily available in many pharmacies. Consume a tablespoon of sweetened chlorophyll with 240 ml of water and you will no longer need medical advice to eliminate the vaginal odor. Chlorophyll can do wonders in reducing vaginal odor.

Causes of vaginal odor

1. Wear loose clothing and cotton underwear

When you wear tight clothing, it can limit air circulation and cause moisture to accumulate. Loose clothing and cotton underwear can help increase air circulation in the groin area and help prevent moisture in the area. Changing underwear every 12 hours is also helpful. This prevents the growth of additional bacteria, which can occur if the area is kept in an unsanitary environment.

2. Change your clothes after exercise

A sweaty groin, also known as a sweaty crotch, can leave you with an unpleasant feeling and smell. Don’t hang around in your sweaty clothes. It is a breeding ground for bacteria! It can also be helpful if you wash your groin area, then dry the area before putting on fresh clothing.

3. Lose weight if necessary

6. Avoid certain foods

Many foods affect the body’s pH, and when it does, it increases inflammation and bacterial growth. Candida is a common infection that can easily become inflamed when you eat certain foods, especially sugary foods, because yeast thrives in a productive environment. Foods that are best avoided if you have vaginal odors and infections include sugar, alcohol, and wheat products. Overall, avoid processed foods high in sugar and eat lots of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables.

Many of these home remedies can fix the problem, but be careful if you use essential oils or other methods that you haven’t used before, especially if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication.
Although less common, the abnormal vaginal odor can result from a rectovaginal fistula, which is an abnormal opening between the rectum and the vagina that can allow the stool to seep into the vagina. If you think you have a rectovaginal fistula, cancer of the cervix or vagina, please consult your doctor. It is important to note that the vaginal odor can be a sign of cancer of the cervix or vagina.
