How to Keep Clothes from Fading in Wash?

How to keep the color of clothes for a long time?

It is unfortunate to love a piece of clothing, and the color disappears to see that the color disappears little by little! It is, of course, a natural phenomenon due to washing, but in any case, it is never pleasant to see such degradation of your clothing. Do you want to keep your textile colors longer?

How to Keep Clothes from Fading in Wash?

1. Turn the clothes over

For textiles such as jeans, you can wash them by turning them over. This will prevent you from seeing the color of your jeans faded.

2. Avoid washing machines that have a lot of lime

The colors of your clothes will fade more if your water has a lot of lime! This is often the case for country houses, unfortunately.

3. Add white vinegar to your load

Add a glass of white vinegar to the water in your load, especially for new laundry. So your clothing colors will stay longer!

4. Add green tea to black clothes

To keep your attire very dark, simply add two glasses of green tea to the rinse compartment.

5. Rinse clothes with beer

Also, for black clothes, rinse your clothes with beer every three washes. This tip may sound funny, but it helps to keep the color of your black clothes.

6. Lemon water to keep the color of clothes

To revive the red color of clothing, immerse the garment in a basin filled with lemon water—an excellent tip for keeping the color of clothes longer.

7. Water and ammonia

To revive the green, pour 3 tablespoons of ammonia for 1 liter of water and immerse your green garments in it.

8. Water and vinegar

For mauve or blue colors, soak the clothes in vinegar water.

9. Rinse with Panama wood bark

To keep your clothes black, rinse them with Panama wood bark.

10. For whiter clothes

Just add a little baking soda to your laundry, and your clothes will keep their whiteness.
