Wine stains happen very quickly, and it is very annoying to realize that a stain has been stained or even a beautiful tablecloth. Fortunately, however, there are several useful tips to get rid of these nasty spots.
Here are some tips which are explained how to remove wine stains from anything & everything.
How To Remove Red Wine Stains
1. Shaving cream on the wine stain
Pour shaving cream, wait a few minutes, and see the shaving cream clean the stain on the tablecloth.
2. Sparkling Water
Pour sparkling water, leave to act, and gently dab the red or white wine stain on the garment with a sponge. Finish cleaning in the washing machine.
3. Club Soda and red wine stain
For a stain of wine on a garment,
- pour Club Soda,
- wait at least 2 hours
- and wash the garment in the machine.
4. Waterproofing spray product
To protect a tablecloth against possible stains of wine, spray a little of this product and then place your dishes on the tablecloth.
5. Liquid windshield washer
Do you have a stain of dried wine on your white clothes? No problem! Soak your garment in a liquid windshield washer (for cars) for a few hours, machine wash, and voila!
6. Peroxide and baking soda
On a white garment, pour a few drops of peroxide on the stain and add baking soda. Mix until a paste is obtained, wait overnight, and the next day washes everything. The stain of wine on the garment will have disappeared entirely.
7. Flour on the wine stain
Pour a little flour on the stain of wine still wet, and once dry, pass a wet cloth over the stain with a bit of soap.
8. White vinegar
Rub the stain with a cloth soaked in white vinegar. Curious as a tip, but it seems that white wine can clean up red wine stains!
9. Oven cleaner
On white cloth only, spray oven cleaner. Rub and rinse quickly to avoid damaging your garment or tablecloth further.
10. Avoid salt
Salt fixes stains, so avoid this tip! It is even inadvisable because you risk staining your tablecloth or your clothing forever.
