Although they are beautiful and soft, these stuffed animals still attract dirt and dust! How to clean stuffed animals? To keep them looking good for a long time, here are some tips for cleaning stuffed animals & plush toys.

1. Place the teddy bears in the freezer

Here is a straightforward little trick to kill the mites living on your teddy bears and stuffed animals! Put them in a bag and put them in the freezer for a few hours. A super useful trick to kill the mites on your soft toys!

2. Baking soda and stuffed animals

How to clean stuffed animals with baking soda? Put your soft toys in a large bag and pour inside the baking soda. Close the bag, brew it and wait a few hours. Then take out the soft toys and brush them or vacuum them to remove the baking soda. Your toys will smell good and have no more dust!

3. Wash your fluff in the washing machine

Put your stuffed animals and your stuffed animals in a pillowcase, which you then close with an elastic band. Put everything in the washing machine and wash your teddy bears with your other clothes. Your stuffed animals will be spotless afterward! On the other hand, it is crucial to dry the teddy bears once the cleaning is complete thoroughly.

4. Using the dryer

With a spray bottle, moisten your stuffed animals a little and then place them in the dryer for 15 minutes by adding a fabric softener sheet (Bounce style). Your stuffed animals will then smell good and be refreshed!

5. Hand wash all your stuffed animals

In the sink, simply wash your stuffed animals with a little warm water and shampoo. Then rinse and dry your stuffed animals before giving them back to the little ones.

6. A teddy bear with batteries

If your toy has batteries, here’s how you can wash it. Just use a damp washcloth soaked in shampoo. Rub everywhere and use this same glove to rinse your teddy bear in cold water. Dry immediately with a hairdryer.

7. Use a potato to wash teddy bears

To avoid using water, first, boil the potatoes and then mash them. Put mashed potatoes all over your teddy and let dry overnight. The next day, brush the teddy with a stiff brush.

8. Essential oil

For your teddy to smell better, you can pour a few drops of essential oil into their hair. Avoid, on the other hand, for teddy belonging to young children who put doggies in their mouths.
